Official acquisition of two companies by STEP-G
On 1st July 2019, ST Extruded Products Germany GmbH, STEP-G for short, took over over the processing business of RMG Metallfachhandel GmbH and the casting of Aluwerk Hettstett GmbH.
With the acquisition, STEP-G is expanding its product portfolio and in-house molding capacity to better meet the needs of key industries such as the automotive, aerospace and rail. With eleven presses, two castings and eight company locations, STEP-G is an important and reliable partner in the market for highly complex, extruded aluminium profiles. The various industries are supported by the three brands STEP-G, BUG Aluminium-Systeme and RMG.
The official welcome took place by Michael Zint, Managing Director of STEP-G, at the plant in Hettstedt with live transmission to Ladenburg. With a welcoming speech and the delivery of welcome packages, the new employees were welcomed. Zint announces: "We are pleased to take you in our STEP-G family and warmly welcome you." With the acquisition, about 40 jobs per location are secured.
