We construct customer-specific machining lines with our own state-of-the-art machining centres especially for these projects. Our focus is on using specific, highly automated machines for efficient processing of all aluminium profiles. STEP-G processes tailor-made aluminium parts and components to the tightest tolerances on our high-precision, fully automated CNC milling machines. Included in the comprehensive STEP-G service range is CNC milling on state-of-the-art machining centres for profile lengths of up to 30,000 millimetres and  also the mechanical processing of extruded aluminium profiles to agreed customer specifications. These plants are manufacturing products especially for rail rolling stock, general engineering and vehicle manufacturing. Our systems include 5-axis high-speed CNC machining centres which can process complex milling geometries with extreme precision. We view our continuous investment in new machining centres and CNC technologies as a key factor for STEP-G’s future success. This ensures we can offer you top-quality aluminium products and assemblies to your agreed quality levels. 

After the milling process, components are marked for individual tracking by stamping, printing or laser marking. We want to make production as easy as possible for you. Hence, we also offer grinding and deburring of aluminium components – leaving smooth surfaces and optimal quality. We use brush-deburring for all profile sections. The benefit this process creates  is a ready-to-install component which you can integrate directly into your production process without further treatments.
